Hello, I'm Summer, a design consultant at Clever Quarters and a proud mom to a wonderful daughter. Originally from China, I made Vancouver my home in 2012, a city that has been a major influence on my design approach. My interior design journey started with my education at BCIT, leading to a rewarding career in high-end furniture stores where I specialized in space planning, interior decorating, and furniture layout.
At Clever Quarters, my goal is to create functional yet unique spaces that bring joy and comfort to every home. Being a mother has deepened my understanding of the importance of practical yet beautiful living environments. Summer is pleasant, listens attentively, helpful, detailed, precise, kind, friendly and intelligent - She is made for this task. She came to the house - took measurements - asked questions that are all at once, thoughtful, considerate in that I am able to fully understand my requirements in regards to use, ease of organizing existing clutter and most of all budget. She found ways and means to give me the best bang for the buck. The house mostly only had cabinets - when I needed drawers - so she designed custom storage that had drawers in spades.
We had a great experience with Clever Quarters. They were very thorough and professional. Right from the start they were really responsive and quick with setting dates and getting things ready. Summer, who consulted with us to create and measure the design was very pleasant to deal with and quite knowledgeable. The build itself went smoothly as well. They were actually able to install quicker than they had originally anticipated. The final product was excellent.
